3.   My own evaluation
  WWW:
  • Used my own images to make the video more original and personal
  • Good quality photos
  • Smooth transition  ( fade in and out) of photos/videos
EBI:
  • Made the contrapuntal sound more clear, use a song with a clear contrast between daytime and nigh-time.
4.  Personally i thought Renaye’s was the best as it was clear what the music was parallel to regarding her photos  and what wasn’t parallel ( contrapuntal) to the rest of her images.
I also liked her concept of the expectations vs reality of social media where on the surface it appears aesthetically pleasing and motivational whilst it can also have a negative impact on someone’s wellbeing. In Renayes video it was clear what was parallel and what was contrapuntal, where mine wasn’t.

5.  Sound is important in film and TV because it creates mood, communicates emotions and engages the audience. Through my work, I learnt how music can contrast daytime and nightime and how parallel sound can match visuals.
